UCPBA is dedicated to supporting a range of initiatives within the Ukrainian community in Calgary, which includes fundraising activities and collaboration with other organizations in their efforts to provide assistance to Ukraine and its citizens, wherever they may be located.

Members of the UCPBA Executive and Board of Directors hold positions on the executive, boards, or advisory committees of several other Ukrainian-Canadian organizations, contributing their leadership skills to these groups. We also spearhead our own initiatives, such as organizing large-scale events open to the wider community, with the intention of raising funds for Ukrainian causes.

UCPBA Calgary has a history of using available funds to bolster the Calgary Ukrainian community, offering grants and scholarships to cultural, educational, and student groups. We also manage funds entrusted to us by entities like the Alberta Gaming, Liquor, and Cannabis Agency, the Taras Shevchenko Foundation, among others.

We ensure these funds are managed effectively, adhering to the guidelines set by the grantors. We will continue to provide updates about these activities through our website and Facebook page.
